As a reminder, Windows 8.1 will reach the end of support on January 10, 2023. This means that Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or technical support for this operating system. this product will no longer receive security updates, non-security updates, bug fixes, technical support, or online technical content updates. This includes the following editions of Windows 8.1:
- Enterprise
- Enterprise N
- N
- Pro with Media Center
- Professional
- Professional N
- SL
Support dates are shown in the Pacific Time Zone (PT) – Redmond, WA, USA.
Additionally, Microsoft 365 apps will no longer be supported on Windows 8.1 as it will no longer meet the system requirements.
Please note that Microsoft will not be offering Extended Security Updates (ESU) for Windows 8.1.
